Takeley Home Ed Hub

By booking a session, class, or event with Takeley Home Ed Hub, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Bookings & Payment

All sessions must be booked in advance via our booking system or agreed payment method.

Payment is required to secure your place.

Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

We reserve the right to refuse entry if full payment has not been received.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before a session may be transferred to a future session (subject to availability).

Cancellations are non-refundable.

If we cancel a session, you will be offered a refund or credit.

Refunds are not issued for non-attendance.

3. Supervision & Parental Responsibility

Unless explicitly stated as a drop-off session, parents/carers must remain on site at all times.

Parents remain responsible for their child’s behaviour and well-being.

Any drop-off arrangements must be agreed in writing in advance.

Siblings are welcome where specified but remain the responsibility of the parent/carer.

4. Health, Safety & Allergies

Parents must inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, SEND needs, or additional support requirements at the time of booking.

We take reasonable care to provide a safe environment; however, participation is at your own risk.

Parents are responsible for ensuring their child is fit and well to participate.

We reserve the right to refuse participation if a child is unwell or poses a safety risk.

5. Behaviour Expectations

We aim to provide a safe, inclusive and supportive space for all families.

Respectful behaviour towards staff, children, parents, and property is expected at all times.

Bullying, aggression, or disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the session without refund.

We operate a restorative and supportive approach but prioritise the safety of all attendees.

6. Photography & Media

We may take photographs or short videos for promotional purposes (website, social media, marketing).

Consent will be requested during booking.

No childs face will be used without signed permission.

7. Safeguarding

All instructors working directly with children are DBS checked.

We operate within safeguarding best practice guidelines.

Any safeguarding concerns will be handled in accordance with statutory guidance.

8. Liability

Takeley Home Ed Hub accepts no liability for loss or damage to personal belongings.

Participation in sessions involves practical activities; while we take reasonable precautions, minor accidents may occur.

You agree that your child participates at your own risk.

9. Changes to Sessions

We reserve the right to adjust timings, instructors, or session content where necessary.

In the unlikely event of hall cancellation or unforeseen circumstances, we will communicate as soon as possible.

10. Agreement

By completing your booking, you confirm:

You have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

You understand supervision requirements.

You have provided accurate information regarding your child’s needs.
